Evening to feature a showcase of concerts from different countries
The program for the 21st Santa Catarina Music Festival (Femusc) in Jaraguá do Sul continues this Monday, the 12th, highlighted by the “Concert of Nations.” The stage at the SCAR Grand Theater will serve as a venue for intercontinental musical encounters, starting at 8:30 PM.
Over the course of an hour and a half, musicians from various countries across the Americas and Europe will present 11 performances. They will play traditional music from their respective nations—ranging from classical to popular genres—representing countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, and North Macedonia, among others.
“This is a very special moment, as it is when musicians can showcase the cultures of their home countries. The Concert of Nations embodies the diversity that stands as one of Femusc’s core purposes,” says Alex Klein, Femusc’s artistic director.
Tickets for the second night of Femusc are already sold out; however, organizers recommend that those interested come to the SCAR venue to check for the release of tickets originally reserved by people who did not show up. The performance can also be watched via the Femusc YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/user/institutofemusc.
The 21st FEMUSC is presented under the Federal Government’s Culture Incentive Law, with Master Sponsorship from Itaú, Laranjinha Itaú, and WEG. It is sponsored by DR Aromas & Ingredientes, Auroracoop, Grupo Elian, Zanotti Elásticos, and Porto de Itapoá; supported by Master Operações Portuárias, Mime, Menegotti, Martinelli Advogados, and Unissocies; and organized by SCAR, FEMUSC, the Department of Culture, Sports and Leisure, and the Jaraguá do Sul City Hall.
