From the 8th, when, until the 15th, FEMUSC (Santa Catarina International Music Festival) already impacted an audience of around 30,000 people. That’s because ten thousand tickets were distributed, free of charge, to spectators who came to the Scar theaters, and another twenty thousand people attended concerts through the festival’s digital channels. In the period, 31 concerts were presented, and, through them, 115 works were performed.
The event is also responsible for creating 150 direct jobs, and generates another 250 indirect jobs. In addition, about 50 volunteers work at the festival.
Considered the largest school festival in Latin America, Femusc continues until the 28th, in Jaraguá do Sul. In its 18th edition, the event involves around 800 musicians, coming from 27 countries and 17 Brazilian states. In total, there will be 200 concerts. All presentations have free admission, upon early withdrawal of tickets, and the great shows are broadcast live, in high definition, by the festival’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/institutofemusc.
