FEMUSC presents the last chamber concert of the 2022 edition

The FEMUSC International Festival presented this Wednesday, 01/26, the last Chamber Concert within the Grande Concertos series, which takes place daily, at 8:30 pm, at the Scar Theater, in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina. The last show had a special participation of the teachers of the old music course and as a highlight, for example, there was the presentation “Trio for clarinet, violin and cello”, by the Czech composer Johann Baptist Vanhal and the “Sonata for horns and ropes”, by the Italian Luigi Cherubini. Compositions by Mozart and François Devienne were also part of the repertoire.
The program from this Thursday, 27/01, features the gala night and presentation of the tribute to the bicentennial of independence, with a concert of the musical work “Abertura para a Independência do Brasil”, composed by Dom Pedro Primeiro in 1820.
On Friday, 28/01, it is the turn of the presentation of the opera “As Bodas de Figaro”, with the participation of more than 40 artists and which is being produced with recyclables and reuse of the leftover material from the industry and the trade in Jaraguá do Sul. The show will have the participation of Drag Queen Saturn.
On Saturday, 01/29, Femusc ends the common program with a morning show featuring the children who participated in Femusckinho and the night is planned for a great show with an old music concert and a Brazilian popular music show.

MPB and Chamber Recitals
This Wednesday, 01/26, pianist Marcelo Ghelfi, coordinator of the MPB course at Femusc, opened the tenth night of Brazilian music with the presentation of classical music. The song chosen was “Papagaio Azul”, composed by Edmundo Vilanni Cortes, performed by tenor Natan Ferreira and with Matheus Alborghetti on the piano.
The presentation followed with the songs “Chove Chuva” by Jorge Benjor, “Flor de Lis” by Djavan, “Patience” by Lenin, “Sou Eu” by Moacir Santos, “Sem Fantasia” by Chico Buarque, and “Velha Infância” of the tribalists.
In the classical music series, in addition to the instrumental compositions of Bach, the highlight was the presentation of the student and soprano Maria Clara Vieira, who sang Le Violette, by the Italian composer Alessandro Scarlatti.
