Biografia

Staatskapelle soloist in Berlin at the invitation of Daniel Barenboim for the 2008-2009 season, began his studies at the Tatuí Conservatory.

He attended the Juilliard School of New York and the New England Conservatory of Boston, in the class of Charles Kavalovski. He was a member of the renowned Empire Brass from 1995 to 1997, recording exclusively by the Telarc label, and from 2002 to 2006, he acted as a guest artist for German Brass. He participated on several occasions as the first guest soloist in the presentations, recordings and tours of the Berlin Philharmonic, Bayerischer Rundfunk Symphonieorchester, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, WDR of Cologne, RSO of Frankfurt, Tonhalle de Zurich, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, among others with the most renowned regents. It was the first soloist horn of OSESP from 1997 to 2001.

He was effective professor of horn at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) and was part of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra as the first solo horn. He is currently in this position with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra – Osesp. He obtained awards in several competitions such as the South America Contest (1988), the Eldorado Award (1989) and 1st place in the Tilden Prize in New York (1993).
