Bachelor of Percussion by the “Unesad Institute of Arts” (1987), Master in Music: Percussion from the “Eastman School of Music – University of Rochester” (1990) and PhD in Musicology from the “Escola de Communications and Arts – USP” (2009), which resulted in the book “Percussion Orchestra Brasileira: Problems Editorial e Interpretativos”, published by Unesp in 2012.
He has been a member of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 1994 and since 1993 he has taught percussion at the “UNESP Arts Institute”, where he also co-directs the PIAP Percussion Ensemble. Eduardo taught at the main music festivals in Brazil such as Femusc, Campos do Jordão and Civebra and taught clinics and masterclasses in several countries.
He also recorded a large number of orchestral and chamber music, and played on many international tours with various groups.
