Homage:
In addition to the tribute that Jane Duboc will make the singer Elza Soares, icon of Brazilian music, who died last Thursday (20), Elza will also be honored by the students of the MPB course with the song “O Morro tem tem Vez”.

With more than 30 albums released, Elza taught and will leave teachings about a plural artist who knew how to shine with her voice through different rhythms: from samba to funk, from jazz to hip hop to electronic music.

about the festival
Considered one of the most important of its kind, the FEMUSC 2022 International Festival was created in 2006 at the initiative of Brazilian conductor Alex Klein. His proposal was to make a personal dream come true: to democratize, popularize and internationalize the learning of classical music in Brazil, through a pedagogical/professional festival.
The 17th edition of the FEMUSC International Festival takes place from January 16th to 29th, 2022. During the 14 days, more than 50 presentations will be held open to the public, including concerts of high international artistic level. This year the festival pays homage to the bicentennial of the independence of Brazil and the 22nd Modern Art Week.
