FEMUSC em pauta

Gala night of the 18th FEMUSC brought personalities from music, art, businessmen and various authorities to the biggest music festival in Latin America

Presentations run until January 28th and can be seen by the festival’s YouTube channel

Since January 8, Jaraguá do Sul (SC) has been the stage for the largest music festival in Latin America, Femusc, which has existed for 18 years, and always takes place in January. Founded by conductor Alex Klein, one of the main names in world classical music of his generation, the Festival-Escola welcomes renowned professors and 800 professional musicians and beginners from more than thirty countries who present around 200 free car shows artistic value. The series Grandes Concertos is broadcast live, always at 8:30 pm, youtube channel of the festival.

On January 26, the traditional Femusc gala took place, one of the most anticipated of the year, which featured presentations by a big band, guitar orchestras, harps and the philharmonic of Femusc Jovem.

Among the highlights of the event, the presentation by the Peruvian harper Eve Matin, who showed at the festival the authorial composition  crisálida” inspired by the poetry of the Iranian teacher and poet Mahvash Sabet, “prisoner of conscience” in her country. FEMUSC is proud to be the largest center of classic harps in Brazil.

The show also had an iconic performance by the pianist  Elton John Shockness Julien, who presented a complex work by the Russian composer Alexander Scriabin.

Before the concerts, Femusc offered a cocktail in thanks to the sponsors and filmmakers of the event, which featured several personalities from the musical, political and business environment. Check out some photos:
