the 20th FEMUSC – Santa Catarina International Music Festival, the largest classical music school festival in Latin America, broadcasts live the main events of this year’s program through the Instituto FEMUSC channel on Youtube.
Among the 711 works distributed in 201 concerts that will be at the festival, the series Grandes Concertos, Semper&NBSP will be broadcast daily until January 25th; at 8:30 pm, E  The Momento Springmann series, at 7 pm, which brings together presentations by students and teachers. The concerts will be broadcast live and in high definition and then edited and published individually.
The presentations of the series Grandes Concertos that will be broadcast throughout this edition of FEMUSC include orchestras, operas in works such as Madama Butterfly  and an MPB show with Guinga as a special guest, among other presentations.
The highlights of the Momento Springmann series include a recital by the Arianna String Quartet and the camera versions of both Gustav Mahler’s 4th symphony and the consecration of Igor Stravinsky’s spring. Special attention is dedicated to the lecture by Jeanne de Castro on the life and work of the Brazilian composer Tia Amélia.
The FEMUSC collection has existed for 15 years and is the largest virtual collection of classical music in Brazil.
