With songs by Gonzaguinha, Dominguinhos, Dorival Caymmi and Tom Jobim, a presentation, broadcast live on Youtube, talks about the importance of preserving water, rivers and seas
One of the most anticipated MPB shows of the 18th edition of the Femusc International Festival, entitled “I have headquarters”, takes place this Saturday, January 14, at 8:30 pm, at Teatro SCAR, in SC, with live broadcast throughout Brazil. With the presence of Jane Duboc, Renato Borghetti, and MPB students, the meeting features songs by Gonzaguinha, Dominguinhos, Dorival Caymmi and Tom Jobim. In common, all the songs will talk about water, this important natural resource that needs to be preserved, because, according to the United Nations (UN), the lack of water can affect 5 billion people by 2050.
“I chose the water theme at the show “I have thirst” because from a very early age I worry about preserving the water on the planet, the show will feature songs about our rivers, our sea and the rains. Duboc.
Tribute to the waters of the Amazon River
Among the songs present in the show, the public will be able to check out the classic “Água de Beber”, by Tom Jobim, accompanied by Renato Borghetti”; in addition to “Tem Sede”, by Dominguinhos, with lyrics by Anastácia and arrangements by Jane Duboc and “Correnteza”, by Tom Jobim “I was the first person to record “Correnteza”, by Tom Jobim, with arrangements by Luis Eça and the production of Rildo da Hora. Duboc will also pay tribute to the waters of the Amazon River and sing the song “Indauê Tupã”, by Paulo André and Ruy Barata, which talks about the canoes of the river that cross the Amazon forest, which harbors the largest biodiversity in the world.

FEMUSC 2023 is held from January 8 to 28, in Jaraguá do Sul, SC. 900 musicians and students from Brazil and other 32 countries participate in the festival and perform approximately 200 presentations in different parts of the city.
Conceived by conductor Alex Klein, the festival features renowned musicians such as Simon Bernardini, a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra; Violinist Débora Wanderley, singer Jane Duboc, gaucho accordionist Renato Borghetti, among others.
The program features formal concerts, chamber music, symphonic orchestras, popular music shows and three operas, set up exclusively for the festival.
