Ecological Sanctuary: 133 species of cataloged birds

With a solid and diversified industrial base, the city occupies a prominent place on the national scene, which also stimulates business tourism. A city that breathes music: Femusc  

Santa Catarina International Music Festival takes place on January 8 and 28, 2023 with more than 200 performances throughout the city.

In January, Jaraguá do Sul is one of the main stages of classical music in the country. FEMUSC – Santa Catarina International Music Festival, takes place between the 8th and 28th of January. More than 1,200 musicians and students from Brazil and other 32 countries participate in the festival and perform more than 200 presentations in different parts of the city.

Names such as conductor Roberto Duarte, violinist Simon Bernardini, instrumentalist Renato Borghetti (MPB) and singer Jane Duboc will be present at the 18th edition that celebrates the meeting between the erudite and the popular.

In the twenty days of shows, the program should include the concert of the nations, three operas, a presentation by the FEMUSC Symphony Orchestra and various concerts in public places and entities in the city.

The main concerts will be held at the Centro Cultural Scar, one of the most complete cultural centers in Brazil, with 10,000 m², distributed over six floors, two theaters (946 and 223 seats), dressing rooms, classrooms, costumes, spaces Multipurpose and ample outdoor parking. In it is the largest collection of harps in the world, an achievement of Femusc.
