FEMUSC em pauta

After three years, Orquestra do Femusc brings an unprecedented presentation to the festival’s stage

The night of this Thursday, 19, was marked by the return of the presentations of the great orchestras on the stage of FEMUSC (Santa Catarina International Music Festival), which due to the Covid-19 pandemic, did not occur in the last three editions.

The public can be enchanted by the stage of the grand theater full of musicians and their instruments, and also, of singing students, who, alongside maestro Alex Klein, presented some of the most famous arias created throughout history.

“Habanera”, by the French composer Georges Bizet and the “Mio Babbino Caro”, an aria by the opera Gianni Schicchi, by the Italian Giacomo Puccini, were some of the songs presented. And also, the passion of two men for the same woman.

The conductor and creator of Femusc, Alex Klein, celebrated the return of the orchestra performances. “Three years ago we had no presentations by Femuscão, and today it is very gratifying to be here. This is one of the most applauded concerts by the public, and which, in a way, is one of the pillars of Femusc”, he says.

He also highlights that the public is what makes the event what it is. “We are very grateful to you for being the hosts of FEMUSC. I want to dedicate this work to you, Jaragua, as a thank you”, pointed out Klein.
