Advanced Orchestral Program

As its name implies, the Advanced Orchestral Program aims to teach advanced instrumental artistic techniques, and the training offered prepares its participants to occupy professional positions in the field of music. The Advanced Program includes classes in all major orchestral instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, percussion, harp, piano, classical guitar, and orchestral conducting.

Period: January 15 to 28, 2023.

Activities: include instrumental classes, suit rehearsals, participation in orchestras and special projects (*), chamber music, social concerts and performances in the main FEMUSC concert series.

(*) Special Projects are pedagogical elements aimed at specific knowledge of certain areas in music education, such as the Serios Project (teaching string quartets), Orchestra Without Conductor, String Orchestra, Brass Group and Mozart Orchestra.

Enrollment and participation: After analysis of the inscriptions, the list of selected candidates will be published, who must confirm their enrollment and participation.

Enrollment cost: according to regulation
Benefits included: participation in classes, rehearsals and concerts, 3 meals a day, accommodation in simple collective accommodation, internal transport between campuses.
