FEMUSC is the largest classical music school-festival in Latin America. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, the Santa Catarina International Music Festival brings together 500 students from almost every Brazilian state and more than 30 countries, from January 12 to 25, for 14 days of learning, cultural exchanges and lots of music with teachers from the most renowned orchestras in the world. The community of Jaraguá do Sul and the region embraces the festival with enthusiasm, filling the 200 free concerts that take place at the SCAR Cultural Center and in various venues around the city, reaching an audience of more than 30 thousand people and leaving a lasting legacy in the region and in the lives of each of the students.
