Intermediate Orchestral Program
The Intermediate Orchestral Program seeks to offer the same level of education offered to the Advanced Program, but to participants with less technical-instrumental and artistic development, whether due to shorter study time, difficulty in having access to better teachers or schools, or their residence be in a location far from major centers. The Intermediate Program offers classes in all major orchestral instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, percussion, harp, piano, and classical guitar.
Period: January 15 to 28, 2023.
Activities: include instrumental classes together with colleagues from the Advanced Program, participation in orchestras, symphony band, chamber orchestras, social concerts and presentations in the main concert series of FEMUSC.
Application: through the website www.femusc.com.br informing:
- Small essay of up to 2000 words
- Link to a competitive recording with up to 10 minutes of music, already posted on sites like Youtube, Vimeo or similar.
- Violin, Viola and Cello candidates must include at least one Bach solo work.
- Email from teacher or person able to provide reference
- Biographical data
Enrollment and participation: After analysis of the inscriptions, the list of selected candidates will be published, who must confirm their enrollment and participation.
Enrollment cost: according to regulation
Benefits included: participation in classes, rehearsals and concerts, 3 meals a day, accommodation in simple collective accommodation, internal transport between campuses.
